A song of loves

My heart is inditing a good matter:
I speak of the things which I have made touching the King
My tongue is the pen of a skilful writer

I
Thou art fairer than children of Men
Grace is poured onto thy lips
Therefore God has blessed thee forever
Gird thy sword upon thy thigh
Oh Most Mighty
In your glory and your majesty!

And in thy majesty ride forth in victory
For the cause of truth and meekness and righteousness;
And thy right hand shall teach thee dread deeds!

Thine arrows are sharp
In the heart of the Kings enemies;
Whereby the people fall under thee.

Thy throne, O God, is for Ever, and ever
The sceptre of thy Kingdom is a right sceptre:
You love righteousness and hate wickedness.
Therefore God, thy God, has anointed you
With oil of gladness above thy fellows
Your robes smell of myrrh, aloe and cassia
Out of Ivory palaces stringed instruments make you glad
Kings daughters are your Ladies of honour;
And at your right hand did stand the Queen in gold of Ophir.

II
Hearken, O Daughter, and consider: incline your ear
Forget your people and your father’s house;
So shall the King greatly desire thy beauty:
For He is thy Lord, worship thou Him.
And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift
Even the rich shall intreat thy favour.

The Princess is glorious within
Her clothing is of wrought gold.
In colours and needle work she is brought to the King
With virgins as companions, she is brought to thee.
With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought:
They shall enter into the Kings palace.
Instead of thy fathers shall be thy sons;
Princes thou mayest make of all the earth

I will make thy name to be rememberd in all the earth
Therefore shall the people praise thee forever and ever.

Psalm 45
